Stainless Steel Water Ripple Sheet – Dimensions, Features & Installation Steps
Stainless steel water ripple sheet is a commonly used construction material with unique appearance and functional characteristics. It is made of stainless steel plate through special processing, and the surface shows a ripple texture.
Stainless steel is a kind of steel, which can resist corrosion of air, water, steam, weak acid, alkali, salt, and other chemical media, also known as acid-resistant stainless steel. In daily life, different kinds of stainless steel are suitable for different occasions. For example, 304 stainless steel is suitable for inland areas, and 304L stainless steel is ideal for coastal areas because it can better prevent rust; 316 stainless steel is more wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant than 304 stainless steel because it contains an element called molybdenum metal, which can strengthen the molecular structure of stainless steel.
In the production process, stainless steel sheets can be made into different patterns and surface treatment effects, such as drawing, mirror, sandblasting, titanium, etching, anti-fingerprint, etc., after stamping, embossing roll treatment, and other processes. The embossing depth of stainless steel water ripple sheet is generally 20–30 microns, and different colors and patterns can be customized according to the needs. During the production process, the main body and the colored layer form a single piece, maintaining the basic properties and structure of stainless steel.
The cost of stainless steel water ripple sheets is related to their thickness, which varies with increasing thickness. Although they do not occupy much area in the same space, are highly artistic and have a wide range of decorative uses.
